Self-introduction: My name is Yichen Lyu and I am a 10th grader at Piedmont Hills High School, San Jose, California. I have a strong interest in arts and often spend my free time on that hobby. I learned to use different materials to create art, such as using lead, ink, watercolor, oil paint, etc. Writing is also something I enjoy, as I joined poetry club in school and got my poem accepted for a magazine. I am currently starting to write a Chinese novel. My love in music led me to join choir during middle school. My choir got a silver award at the Disney Music performance. I started piano when I was at the age of nine, and I now use my free time to play the songs I like.
