Self-introduction: My name is Xilang Lin and I am a senior at Valley Christian High School. Throughout my school years I have attended many extracurricular activities programs such as being part of the Conservatory Artist Honors Program and I have also been a part of the AMSE Health and Wellness afterschool program. Outside of school, I have done art for many years and won Scholastics Artists awards. I also help out my local community by teaching kids with special needs swimming techniques and also volunteering at local church events. During summer, I have participated in social justice programs and also tutored kids in English for the past years. These valuable experiences shaped me as a person and taught me the importance of empathy in our community.
