Self-introduction: My name is Vanessa Liu, I currently attend the Texas Academy of Math and Science as a senior in high school at the University of North Texas. At school, I study electrical engineering and computer science and I am part of the robotics team. I have a strong passion for music, so I have done orchestra for 5 years. I also started playing piano in kindergarten, and have won multiple awards and medals from competitions and theory tests. I love giving back to the community so I volunteer regularly at the local nursing home. Additionally, I currently run a school supply drive that donates to elementary schools around the DFW area. I also enjoy playing volleyball and am on the Women’s Intramurals League at UNT. In my free time, I like listening to music, doing nails, and spending time with my friends.
