Self-introduction: My name is Mitee Su, a senior at Mission Early College High School in California. My parents created my name: Mitee, from Yosemite. They hoped I could have a soul like the beautiful mountain and keep my mind calm as natural. I was born tiny, my mom sent me for several exercises, such as figure skate, synchronized swimming, gymnastics, and dance. And I finally chose to dance. I joined a fantastic Chinese dance studio at my very early age and participated in many dance competitions from then on. I realized without good team work, there is no way you could get high scores for the dance team. I worked very hard to achieve fruitful results and really enjoy it. I hope I could dance my whole life, and would choose dance as a minor major in my college. I also like drawing, singing, and playing piano, and a Chinese music instrument: pipa. I am a straight student at school, never falling off the principal list. When I was in the STEM program in my 1st year of high school, I participated all competition that I could join, and got an exceptional team merit of 2022 synopsys championship fair, and got a certificate of special mayoral recognition from the city of Santa Clara. In junior, I was voted to be the spirit and activity commissioner. This is a good chance to practice leadership well. I held an event called “ winter market”, fundraising dollars from selling and donating art crafts and homemade bakery at school. Then dedicated back to school and community. I actively joined 2 non profit organizations, go to food banks and volunteer in the community to help others who really need help.
