Self-introduction: My name is Elaine Cheng, and I’m a 7th grade student at Bret Harte Middle School in San Jose, California. I have a deep love for music, especially playing the piano, and I’m also passionate about animals like cats and fish, as well as the beauty of nature. I enjoy hiking and visiting national parks, and one of my favorite things to do is travel with my family and friends. I’ve been lucky to explore many beautiful places across the USA and China. Art is another big part of my life. I love painting, especially portraits, and I often draw special birthday gifts for my friends. My dream is to paint the world with both my hands and my heart. In the future, I hope to become a veterinarian. I love animals—dogs, cats, and all kinds—and I want to help them live happy, healthy lives. I also hope to travel the world some day and meet lots of interesting people along the way.
