Amelia Li

Self-introduction: My name is Amelia Li. I am a 9th grader at Valley Christian Schools in California. I started learning to paint at the age of 5. I like to listen to music with headphones in front of my desk and paint what I want to paint. My painting represented the school in the state competition and won the third place. I also like dancing. I have taken dance classes once a week since I was 5 years old. Although there is only one class a week, I have won several trophies, participated in Rainbow California, won the championship, won the second place in the amateur group of SPOTLIGHT, and participated in the national competition as the second place in the amateur group. I competed with many professional teams and finally won the SPOTLIGHT national championship. This is the most surprising and happiest moment for me to insist on dancing for so many years. Since I could walk, I also went to the golf course with my parents every week. I can say that I have been playing golf for more than ten years. My best result is the runner-up of the US Children’s Golf. I will continue to work hard. I am also a member of the school’s 2022 softball team. That year we won the championship. I am also a member of the school football team. This year, I served as a member of the school basketball team and participated in more than 20 church games. In the end, we won the championship. I like the power of the collective and the tacit cooperation.
