About

Welcome to Youth Horizon Culture Connection Association!

We are a youth group dedicated to connecting the world through culture, art, sports, business, and science. We believe in the power of communication to unite us as a global community, promoting progress and understanding. We strive to cultivate leadership, creativity, and a strong sense of public service, empowering youth to make meaningful contributions to their communities and society as a whole.

In February 2024, Bryan Chen, a sophomore at Valley Christian High School in California, reached out to Song Min, President of the US-China Cultural Communication Association(USCCCA), to plan the establishment of the Association’s Youth Division. After nearly three months of preparation, the division was successfully formed and immediately organized a series of successful events. On August 28, 2024, the “Youth Department of UACCCA” was renamed the “Youth Horizon Culture Connection Association (YHCCA).”

On May 31, 2024, with the support of Song Min, and in the presence of City of Cupertino Mayor Sheila Mohan, the Youth Division of the USCCCA held its founding ceremony at the Cupertino Public Library. During the event, certificates were presented to the 12 inaugural members, including founding president Bryan Chen.

On May 5,2024, the first “Youth Public Welfare Activity—Photography Teaching Course” was held in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley.

On May 11, 2024, the second “Youth Public Welfare Activity” was organized, participating in the “Signature Spikes: Connecting History and Future” event hosted by the Chinese Railroad Workers Historical Center in San Francisco. Our participation received extensive coverage from major media outlets both domestically and internationally, attracting public attention and generating positive social responses.

On June 10, 2024, the Youth Department launched its first Leadership Training Camp, themed “China through American Eyes—American Youth Tell Stories from Hubei with Cameras and Brushes.” We explored famous attractions in Wuhan and Xianning, Hubei Province, gaining insights into Chinese history and culture. This was an important first step in our mission: to bring Chinese culture back to the U.S. while sharing American culture with Chinese youth.

On September 29, 2024 – USCCCA organized the fourth “China in the Eyes of Americans – Telling the Story of Wuhan, Xianning and Xiantao with Paintbrushes” art exhibition in the San Francisco Bay Area. YHCCA members volunteered in this activity. Over 60 American artists showcased artworks depicting the landscapes and culture of these Chinese cities.

On December 23, 2024 – YHCCA organized a cross-border event “Spreading Love: American Youth Donating Supplies to Warm Schools and Change the Future of Underprivileged Students.” This activity was initiated by Bryan Chen, the President of YHCCA. We donated school supplies, winter essentials, and books to Joaquín Murrieta Elementary School in Tecate City, Mexico. This initiative also included cultural exchange activities, fostering goodwill and support for underserved students.

On March 16, 2025 – – USCCCA hosted the fifth “China in the Eyes of Americans – American Youth Telling the Stories of Hubei with Lenses and Paintbrushes” art continuous exhibition at the Cupertino Library in California. It showed photography and paintings of YHCCA members during their visit to Wuhan and Xianning, Hubei in June, 2024. The exhibit highlights the culture, history, and education systems of these cities from the special perspective of American youth.

We continue to explore the world and sincerely invite young people from North America and around the globe to join us year after year in fulfilling our mission.
